Welcome to
Kamp Modoc Family Campground and Play Lake

Kamp Modoc Family Campground & Play Lake is snuggled amongst picturesque rolling hills, north of I-70
halfway between Dayton, Ohio and Indianapolis, Indiana. We have spacious campsites in a
variety of shaded and open settings.
Onsite activities include all the activities a camper would expect on a family campground plus additional
features, such as our NEW JUMPING PILLOW (2010) and our newly redesigned SWIMMING
ZONE which includes the Summit Express water slide and a 23' SuperTramp Water Trampoline along
with an expanded beach area. (Sun lovers will really love what we've done at the beach area.) We've added more
themed activities for the family, too. See our planned family activity schedule.
IT'S ALL ABOUT HAVIN'
FUN!
Kamp Modoc is centrally located between such attractions as the Indianapolis 500, Historic Hagerstown, Indiana,
Wilber Wright Museum and Fishing/Hunting Preserve, Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle, and Muncie IN
and Ball State University to the north and to the west. A short drive to the south and to the east takes you to
Hayes Arboretum, Glen Miller Rose Garden in Richmond, Winchester Speedway and Mrs. Wicks Pie Factory in
Winchester. Scattered about the countryside, one will find numerous Amish farms and settlements along with well
known antique malls and junque shoppes.
We think you'll agree that Kamp Modoc provides a memorable experience for the entire family.
